How It’s Made

Made by hand. On purpose.

Every Satire Stationery piece starts here—not in a warehouse, not on a dropshipping conveyor belt, and not in a catalog of twelve thousand identical products wearing different slogans.

1. The idea misbehaves

A phrase, image, story, private joke, or tiny act of rebellion becomes an original cover and interior layout. The goal is simple: it should be useful, beautiful, and specific enough to make the right person say, “Well, damn. That's mine.”

2. The paper gets serious

Covers and interiors are printed in-studio. Most full-size notebooks use premium 32 lb interior paper, heavy printed covers, and sturdy 50 pt backing. Specialty formats use the materials listed on their product pages because one size does not fit every questionable decision.

3. I build the thing

Pages are cut, covers are assembled, holes are punched, metal corners are set where the design calls for them, and each piece is wire-bound by hand. I inspect every finished item before it leaves the studio.

4. It leaves dressed properly

Orders are packed securely, wrapped in paper, and finished with a bow—because if the contents are going to be unhinged, the presentation should at least have manners.

Made to order

Standard products are made after you order and usually ship within 2 business days. Custom work begins once I have your details and photos, and production starts after you approve the design proof.
